2019 saw me really make an honest attempt at prototyping, molding, and casting with resin. I had previously limited myself to wax only as a function of prototyping figures for vinyl production...but this process is a little bit different. Very quirky.

Overall, I really like resin. I think I'm probably working very hard to do some things the very hard way, but on the other hand, it's incredibly gratifying to have an idea in the morning and end up with something tangible/repeatable by that same night (if everything goes right).

This little duo is a very unlikely one: I had a vintage Donald Duck gashapon figure that I really liked, along with some of my vinyl mickey heads, freaky baby bodies, and some arms I pulled off of a Majin Yokai figure and boom: my own strange lil bootleg duo. I love this set so much that I threw in a glow keychain of mr. foreign Duck himself. Happy hunting.
